I FLEW ABOVE THE ROOF OF THE HOUSE!

"Hello, hello, hello, I'm reporting success, but I do not know exactly how to put it. :))) I would not stick to lucid dreaming - I did not control it at all, I was too conscious of the dream and it was pretty vague for astral travel.

I lie in the bed, trying to get a little more sleep because I woke up at a moment when I still felt tired and useless and needed to sleep a little bit more. Somehow I'm not relaxing, just concentrating on thinking that I'm going to use the opportunity and try astral travel.

Finally, I fall asleep lightly, but at some point, I feel very relaxed, I start to be conscious, I think - "I already know this state, I have experienced it", I fly up from my body like with a light breeze and immediately, uncontrollably I float through the ceiling to great heights and look at very distant houses, like looking at google maps. Then it starts to blow me away from that altitude, I suddenly see a tree branch around me - "am I not at that height anymore?" and I try to understand it, perceive the scenery, but it all disappears and I find myself back in my body.

It was very short, maybe just a fraction of a few seconds. I couldn't control it. I couldn't fully see things from the space around me - it was like seeing things through some net. And it seemed too fast (or blurred) to determine if it really was my home and the surroundings of my house. I see some houses from above, but before I can assess if it's around my house, it's blowing me away.

I do not know how to describe it .. uncontrollable, obscure strange vision, inability to think rationally, the problem of determining the time duration, perception more sensually than visually, perhaps a very fast pace.

At first it seemed to me to last 5-15s, When I think deeply back that duration was just a portion of a second, and so it seems so strange for astral travel.

After the awakening I feel fresh and with mild euphoria. I am happy and I want to write to you. Even if you don't give it the astral travel sticker and I don't know how to identify it, it is pleasantly unusual for me. I am glad about it and I will continue.
Cheers, thank you, have a nice time and have a nice weekend! Martin"

Martin, thank you for the great news!
Your state of euphoria and freshness, along with a description of your night experiences - all perfectly describes your first astral travel. You will belong to a group of people who must learn to walk and create in the astral realms, and actually just be there at the beginning.

The beginnings can be challenging and chaotic, but with each successive performance the control of the astral world will improve. We have already written an article about those “harder” astral beginnings  (The beginnings of Astral Traveling) so you can see that you are not the only one.

Everyone has strength in a different area, someone can consciously move in astral space immediately, others need to learn it.

But the important thing is that you have experienced it and you know what it feels like - the feeling of taking off above houses and being there. How the perception of time is different - we cannot determine whether it is a fraction of a second or 15 seconds.

What a charming and different state of consciousness it is, and yet it is so real that there is no doubt that we have experienced it.

I wish you many other beautiful ascents from the body.
